Louise Cole Moll, 86, Joplin, Mo., died Sunday, November 16, 2008, at her home.
She was born May 6, 1922, in Stella, Mo, to John and Susan Nermile Meagher. She graduated from Midway School in Newton County in 1940.
She married Kenneth Cole, Newtonia, on May 6, 1942. He died on May 28, 1978. She married Jack Moll on Nov. 7, 1999. He died on Oct. 11, 2001.
The Coles lived in Liberal, Mo., and Chanute where they owned auto dealerships. Later they moved to Joplin where they owned Cole Lincoln-Mercury.
She was an active member of Women of the Shrine, and was a member of the Joplin Elks Lodge.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Sherry Cole, Joplin, Mo., Ron and Peggy Cole, Pineville, Mo.; four grandchildren and their spouses, Jeff and Jill Cole, Dallas, Texas, Scott and Lesa Cole, Birmingham, Ala., Kerri Cole-Still, Joplin, Mo., and Kelly and Chrissy Cole, Springfield, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary Chapel, Joplin, Mo. Interment will follow in Diamond Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in care of the funeral home.
