Marcella Nell Wrampe, 90, Yates Center, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Yates Center Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 30, 1919, near Rose to Raymond S. and Susie E. Darst Orbin. She graduated from Yates Center High School in 1937.

She married Milton C. Wrampe on June 8, 1946, in Eureka. He died on Jan. 1, 1989.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She served as clerk of Woodson County for 26 years before retiring in 1985.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Bennington and Naomi Condit, both of Yates Center; and numerous other nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred.

The family will greet friends at 1 p.m. Monday at the Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m.
