Eunice V. Trichler, 71, Bryanston, South Africa, died Friday, March 26, 2010.

She was born Jan. 16, 1939, in rural Woodson County to Noel and Julia Jackson. She attended Humboldt High School.

She taught school at Alta Vista, Manhattan, and Salina before moving to South Africa in 1970.

She married Norman Trichler on July 22,1962. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Grant Trichler, Uffington, England, and Todd Trichler, Highland Ranch, Colo.; a brother, Dwight Jackson, Lawrence; two sisters, Ellen Jackson, Yates Center, and Helen Eisele, Fredonia; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Trichler; a grandson; and a sister Doreene Pringle.

A memorial service will be held on April 6 at the Bryanston Methodist Church.
