Leah Rae Card, 74, Chanute, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Via Christi Medical Center St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

She was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Iola to Ray A. and Elora G. Lehman Card. She graduated from Humboldt High School.

On April 11, 1956, she married Stephen Ray Card at Humboldt. He died on June 19, 1999.

She had been a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Ashton and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Wykle, Rexburg, Idaho; and two grandchildren, Forrest Wykle and Amy Nelson both of Rexburg, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Ray Card.

Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt under the direction of Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola.
