Wilma R. Hardesty, 72, Yates Center, died Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Wichita. She was born May 18, 1935 in Rose, to Lee Milton and Elizabeth M. Dutro Tuttle.
She grew up in Woodson County and attended Yates Center schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Yates Center.
She married Clyde E. Hardesty Oct. 15, 1955 in Yates Center. He preceded her in death March 7, 1986.
Survivors include four daughters, Vetta Scheer, LaHarpe, Patty Switzer, Round Rock, Texas, Alberta Cook, Lawrence, Brenda Sandborn, Phoeniz, Ariz.; a sister, Nadine Gardner, Yates Center; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Yates Center Cemetery.
