Naomi “Hope” Dunn, Sneads Ferry, N.C., died peacefully in her daughter’s home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, in Zephyrhills, Fla.

Survivors include three daughters, Christine Sims, Hilton Head Island, S.C., Betty Harrell, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Teresa Hendrix, Holly Ridge, N.C.; two sons, Roy Gray, Atlanta, Ga., and J. Richard “Rick” Gray, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lois Slater, Chanute; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a life time gift of many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dunn Sr.

Funeral was 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Holly Ridge with the Rev. Tim Dols officiating. Interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Arrangements are under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, N.C.
