Anna Lucille Evans, 79, Chanute, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Heritage Health Care Center in Chanute.
Anna was born in Kansas City, Mo., on June 8, 1930, the daughter of Frank Elijah and Edna Mae Townsend Gregory. She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, Mo. She has been living in this area for approximately 15 years.
She was united in marriage to Daniel David Evans on May 13, 1953 at the Presbyterian Church in Lees Summit, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Anna was a homemaker and farm wife.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and loved to square dance.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Linda Malcom and her husband, Jerry, Wichita, and Helen Johnson and her husband, Jim, Haslett, Mich.; a son, David Evans and his wife, Jerry, Shell City, Mo.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Lipari, Albuquerque, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel;, and two brothers, Edward and Ike, and a sister, Frances Curtis.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today, April 30 at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials in her name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church and may be left with the funeral home.
