Jerry L. Haigler, 66, Iola, died Sunday, May 18, 2008.
He was born March 14, 1942, in Chanute to Lewis and Hazel Woosley Haigler. He attended Chanute schools.
On Aug. 29, 1959, he married Betty Harris in Chanute. She survives.
He was employed in the railroad and oil industries.
Other survivors include two sons, Chuck Haigler, Humboldt, and Steven Haigler, Fort Smith, Ark.; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, under the direction of Waugh-Yokum & Friskell Memorial Chapel, Iola.
