Joe D. McConaghie, 63, Yates Center, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at his home.

He was born in Shamrock, Texas, to Frank and Irene Middaugh McConaghie. He graduated from Buffalo (Mo.) High School.

On Dec. 26, 1975, he married Martha Meek in Alma, Ark. She survives.

For the last 15 years he worked as a warehouse supervisor for the Gates Rubber Company in Iola.

Other survivors include two sons, Nathan and Patrick McConaghie, both of Yates Center; a daughter, Joanna Farmer, Douglass; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Frankum, Treva Riehl, Barbra Morrell and Betty Brooks; and a brother, Bob McConaghie.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center.

The family greet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
