Brenda Jean Holtsclaw Rush, 57, died Monday, December 8, 2008, in Sand Springs, Okla.

She was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Wichita to Marvin and Betty Holtsclaw.

She was employed with the city of Sand Springs and attended Fisher Baptist Church in Sand Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Philip Rush; three sons, Danny Fisher and Herbert Reed, both of Chanute, and Russell Rush, Olathe; two daughters, Angie Crisp, Claremore, Okla., and Gail Rush, Elk City; 11 grandchildren; seven brothers, Benny, Keith, Richard, David, Marvin, Darrell and Ricky Holtsclaw; and four sisters, Allora Crownover, Carroll Laird, Alannia Klassen and LoLetta Staggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Wayne May; and a sister, Donna K. Weatherhead.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fisher Baptist Church under the direction of Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home — Riverside Chapel in Sand Springs.

Contributions may be made to the Building Fund at the church.
