Robert O. Warren, 81, Lone Elm, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.

He was born Sept. 13, 1927, at Garnett to D.O. and Ethel M. Britton Warren. He graduated from Garnett High School in 1945.

He married Joan Kulp on Nov. 25, 1954, at Lone Elm. She survives.

The couple farmed at Lone Elm.

He was a member of Colony Community Church.

Survivors include two sons, David Warren, Lone Elm, and Rodney Warren, Chanute; a grandson; a great-grandson; and three brothers, Richard Warren, Winfield, Tom Warren, Iola, Jim Warren, Galva.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Colony. Burial will follow in the Lone Elm Cemetery.

He will lie in state after 1 p.m. today. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
