Ella Marie Olson, 66, rural Erie, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Harry Hynes Hospice at Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita.

She was born Aug. 29, 1941, at Stark to Alfred Elmer and Claudia Eloise Johnson Owen. She graduated from Grant Township Rural High School.

On March 12, 1961, she married Ronald Olson at the Kimball E.U.B. Church. He survives.

She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, rural Savonburg.

Other survivors include three daughters, Rhonda Dubach, Wichita, Robin Stricklin, Weir, and Valerie Engstrom, Erie; six grandchildren; her mother, Eloise Owen, St. Paul; and a sister, Ann Alexander, Laughlin, Nev.

Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Savonburg. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Erie.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday.
