Willis Leon Cleaver, 79, Poulsbo, Wash., died Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
He was born Aug. 11, 1928, and graduated from Chanute High School in 1947.
He married Dorothy Barnhill on May 25, 1947. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2008.
He and his wife owned and operated Cleaver Construction in Washington until his retirement.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Poulsbo 2nd Ward.
Survivors include four children, Ron Cleaver, Poulsbo, Wash., Eric Cleaver, Kingston, Paul Cleaver, Poulsbo, and Lisa Piecuch, Poulsbo; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Cleaver, and an infant sister, Darlene.
A Memorial Service and reception for Willis was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Poulsbo, on Tuesday, May 27.
