Clayton L. Wright, 54, Erie, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Labette Health, Parsons.

He was born May 11, 1956, at Palmer, Alaska, to Lynn and Doris Knoedler Wright. Clayton lived in Fairbanks, Alaska until 1963 when he moved to Erie. He graduated from Erie High School.

He was self employed at Wright Concrete and DJ Auto shop for many years in rural Erie. Presently he worked for Quest Cherokee Oil and Gas Company since 2005 as a mechanic.

Clayton was a member of the Excelsior House of Prayer in rural Erie. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and fishing.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Greve, Springdale, Ark., Chelsey Wright, Springdale, Ark., Tina Winkleman, Erie; a son, Nathan Wright; seven grandchildren; a brother, John Wright, Wasilla, Alaska; four Sisters, Rebecca Simmons, Chanute, Pamela Christmas, Bellingham, Alaska, Sharron Farrar, Eagle River, Alaska, Mary Clabo, Palmer, Alaska.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Wright and Jerry Wright.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.

A Celebration of Life will be at 5 p.m. Friday, June 25 at the Pontious Family Farm. 7305 N Hwy 59, Erie. The family request friends to ride motorcycles and bring fishing poles if desired.
