Charles Gordon Rowe, 93, Eureka, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Greenwood County Hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1916 in Caney to Charles K. and Fannie Miller Rowe.

He attended school in Caney.

He and Beulah Pershall were married Aug. 7, 1934, in Bartlesville, Okla.

He worked for Sinclair Pipeline Company and its subsidiaries, including a stint in Venezuela.

He was baptized into the First United Methodist Church in Eureka.

His wife preceded him in death in 2007.

Survivors include a son, Ronald E. Rowe, Chanute; daughters Jacquelyn A. Wall, Emporia, and Mary Sue Winn, Wichita; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine L. King, Stafford.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 2 at Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Greenwood County Hospital or Meals on Wheels of Eureka and may be sent to the funeral home,
