Christopher D. Miller, 44, Cherryvale, died Friday, December 19, 2008, as a result of a car accident south of Chanute.
He was born Aug. 4, 1964, in Ellsworth to Patrick M. and Janet R. Minniear Miller. He attended Missouri schools.
He married Ronita Mann and they later divorced. He married Jodie Smith and they later divorced.
He was employed as a temporary employee with Express Personnel in Parsons. He had been employed with National Garment and P.C. Boards in Chanute.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Janet R. and Kenneth W. Gibson, Cherryvale; his grandmother, Dorothy Minniear, Cherryvale; a daughter, Melissa Miller, Tahlequah, Okla.; three sons, Jarod Mann, Christopher Jay Miller and Cooper Miller, all of Tahlequah, Okla.; a brother, Mark A. Miller, Overland Park; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick M. Miller; an infant daughter, Macie; two grandfathers, Bernard Miller, Garnett, and I.O. “Chief” Minniear, Cherryvale; and a grandmother, Pearl Miller, Garnett.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale.
