Shirley Ann Boring, 83, Cherryvale, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Elm Haven West in Parsons.

She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Cherryvale She was employed as an assembler with Gregg Cabinets before her retirement and was a lifetime member of New Hope Christian Church, Cherryvale.

Survivors include her cousins, Ruby Phelps, Coffeyville, Mel and Del Heideman, Coffeyville, Jack and Deloris Sullivan, Missouri, George Weiser, Coffeyville, Jack and Judy Litty, Florida, Harriett Gill, Cherryvale, and Susanne and Pat Bell, Cherryvale.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at New Hope Christian Church, Cherryvale. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Cherryvale, under the direction of Potts Chapel, Cherryvale.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Contributions to the New Hope Christian Church may be made in care of the funeral home.
