Dave Roseberry, 87, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at his home in Chanute. David Clayne Roseberry was born May 20, 1923 at Holly, Colo., the son of Lee and Maudie Smith Roseberry.
In 1944, he was united in marriage to Mary Agnes Reed. They were later divorced.
On Dec. 14, 1967, he married Sharon Berry in Miami, Okla. She survives, of the home.
Survivors include three daughters, Becky Neville, The Woodlands, Texas, Beth Ann Fulghum, Haysville, and Heidi Flora, Parsons; one son, David Roseberry, Humboldt; two sisters, Jean Robbins and Novella Anderson, Chanute; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Kenneth Berry; and one grandson, Greg Fulghum.
Dave was a rancher and a longtime employee of Fredonia Packing Company. After moving to Chanute, he retired from Chanute Manufacturing Company in 1985. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today, July 16 at Weakley Cemetery near New Albany. Memorials have been established in Dave’s name with Horizon Hospice c/o Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.
