Mary E. Fudge, 70, Iola, died Friday, June 13, 2008.

She was born Feb. 19, 1938, in rural Iola to Victor H. and Nellie M. Allen Sigg. She grew up in Iola and attended St. John’s Catholic Church.

She married Larry K. Fudge on May 24, 1968. He died Jan. 13, 1993.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Stacy Fudge, Iola; a daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Chris Norton, Iola; eight brothers, Don, John Vic, Herb, Dan, Jerry and Steve Sigg, all of Iola, and Ron Sigg, Parsons; three sisters, Elsie Galemore and Pat Griffith, Chanute, and Helen MacNabb, Raleigh, N.C.; and seven grandchildren, Kasen, Addie, Paige, Shylie, Roby, Kayle and Mikey.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and David Sigg.

The Rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Iola. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel, Iola.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Parish Center.
