Bertha P. Williams, 99, Randlett, Okla., died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Evergreen Care Center in Burkburnett, Texas.

Bertha was born Jan. 14, 1911, to John Robert and Jennie Williams, in Randlett, Okla. Bertha married Lewis E. Williams on June 12, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1990. They farmed in the Randlett community and Bertha was a cook at the Randlett Schools for many years.

Bertha was the mother of Jerry Williams, Chanute. Other survivors include a son, David, Ames, Iowa, a daughter, Bonnie Baggs, Randlett; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Pauline Sample, Durant, Okla.

Services were 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at Randlett Baptist Church. Burial was in Randlett Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
