Lael Jewell Willis, 99, Chanute, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Heritage Healthcare Center in Chanute.
She was born April 22, 1909, in Chanute to Charles and Elizabeth Round Harmon.
She married John Willis in Enid, Okla., in 1957. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Morgan, Louisburg, and Joan Jensen, Londonderry, N.H.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services were 10 a.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
