James D. “Jaime” Conine, 38, Kansas City, Mo., died Monday, August 9, 2010.
Jaime was born April 27, 1972 in Parsons, the son of David and Patricia Fox Conine. He grew up in Chanute and graduated from Chanute High School in 1991.
He attended Washburn University.
On June 6, 2009, Jaime married Dawn Marie Witt.
Jaime was involved in the electronics manufacturing and distribution for many years including a national sales manager position at Lighting Audio. The past three years, he entered the GeoThermal industry.
He enjoyed golf, art, grilling, time with family, friends and comedy. He also was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was proceeded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife of the home, Dawn Conine, stepdaughter Leah; mother, Pat Conine; sisters Juli Henderson and husband, Richard, and their two daugthers, Kaylee and Kelsi Henderson, Rockwall, Texas, Jill Haight and husband, Dan, and their children, Alec and Alleigh Haight, Chanute.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug, 14 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 N. Antioch Road, Gladstone, Mo., 64119, the Rev. Gerry Sharp officiating.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church of Chanute or a contribution of choice in his name.
