, 69, Exeter, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug.10, 2010 in Cassville, Mo.

He was born Jan. 19, 1941 in Chanute, the son of Frank and Bertha Lillian Rodgers Hutinett. He attended St. Patrick’s School and Chanute High School. From 1958 to 1962 he served in the United States Marine Corps.

In 1964, he married Patricia Miles and they had three daughters, Melissa, Malinda and Mary. They later divorced. He worked for more than 30 years in the southeast Kansas oilfield industry and later retired after 15 years with NuWa Industries. In 2004 he moved from Chanute to Exeter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #533, Wheaton, Mo., Mirza Shrine Temple, Pittsburg, and American Legion Post #170, Chanute.

He is survived by his mother, Bertha Lillian Hutinett, Chanute; daughters Melissa Vollenweider and her husband, Mark, Cassville, Mo.; Malinda Hutinett and her husband, Bill Dokey, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mary Hutinett-Stover and her husband, Terry, Olathe; brother, John T. and his wife, Mary, Chanute; sister, Phyllis Petty and her husband, Michael, Cassville, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Cari and Kelsey Vollenweider, Cassville, Mo., Patrick and Carolyn Dokey, Buffalo, N.Y.; Elizabeth, Andrew, Benjamin and Michael Stover, Olathe; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Saturday, August 21 at 10 a.m. at the Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, Mo., under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo. Memorials can be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Louis, Mo., or Mercy St. John’s Hospice Care, Aurora, Mo.
