Charles “Chuck” Clark Enloe, 77, Cherryvale, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Independence.
He was born April 7, 1933, in Enon, Mo., the son of Enoch W. and Bessie J. Scrivner Enloe. He attended East High School in Kansas City, Mo.
On Aug. 20, 1966 he was united in marriage to Susan Yurkovich in Reno, Nev. She survives, at the home in Cherryvale.
He owned and operated the Hide Away Tavern in Humboldt.
Also surviving are three sons, B. Craig Enloe, Leavenworth, C. Chuck Enloe, Jr., Lexington, Okla., and J. Wesley Enloe, Cherryvale; a daughter, Frances Tracy Schuman, Ottawa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Potts Chapel, Cherryvale. Inurnment will be at a later date at Russellville, Mo., in the Enloe cemetery.
A memorial with the American Heart Association has been established and may be left with the funeral home.
