Goldie Lee Smith, 56, died Aug. 10, 2010 in Glendale, Ariz. She was born March 5, 1954 in Iola.
She was raised on a farm in Earlton where she had a paper route. She loved to ride horses and had a collection of pigs bells chimes and figurines.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack and George Smith; life partner Gary Woodcock; four grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Joseph, and Mason; seven brothers and sisters, Shirley Anderson, Russell Smith Betty Meredith, Freddy Smith, Linda Shepherd , Mary Smith Spencer and Jeanette Riddle She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Juanita Brown Smith and Dewey I Smith, and brothers and sisters Chuck Smith, Dorthy Scobbie, and Dewey Smith.
