Jade O’Neill, 62, formerly of St. Paul, died at 8:07 a.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at her home in Independence, Mo.

She was born July 27, 1948, in Chanute, to Earl and Maxine Greely Patterson. She grew up and attended schools in Chanute. In May 2005 she earned an Associate’s degree. For several years she worked at Wichita State University.

She and Lawrence E. “Larry” O’Neill were married Feb. 2, 1995, at St. Petersburg, Florida. They moved to Neosho County where they lived until his death in November 2003.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Parsons.

Survivors include one son, Shawn Crouch, Chanute; four daughters, Tracy, Christina, Sheila and Melissa; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Onnie Pier, Independence, Mo.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Faith Bible Church, 102 S. Lafayette, in Chanute.

With Deepest Sympathy to those who was able to meet this woman and remember her for the good things that she done in life and forgive her seven hundred seventy seven times seven for what you thought she had done wrong. She was a good woman.
