Gerald F. “Gus” Wagner, 65, Ballwin, Mo., formerly of Erie, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at his daughter’s home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 30, 1942, to William Henry Wagner and Bernice Neil in St. Louis, Mo.
He married Janice Kay Prickett, Fenton, Mo., on June 5, 1964. They divorced. He married Tamera Jean Walsh, Fenton, Mo., on July 12, 1980. They divorced.
He worked at Target in Ballwin, Mo., from 2000 until 2007.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Pamela Knapp; a sister, Linda Bell, St Louis, Mo.; three daughters, Tammy Klenklen, Erie, Debra Herrington, Fenton, Mo., and Melody Wagner, House Springs, Mo.; a son, Robin Wagner, Chanute; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald; and a daughter, Brittany.
Funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kutis Funeral Home, Afton, Mo., with burial at St. Johns Cemetery in High Ridge Mo.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
