Charles Norman Junod, 80, Denver, Colo., died Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
He was born Jan. 25, 1928, to Louis J. and Mary Frances Downs Junod in Chanute. He received his engineering degree from Kansas University and worked for Boeing in Wichita before moving to Denver.
He was an Eagle Scout, sang with the Barber Shop Singers, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First Methodist Church, all in Chanute.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Felt; three children and their spouses, Cindy and Duane Bosveld and Marc and Michelle, Jeff Junod; three siblings, Louis and Forrest Junod and Ila Capolino, Chanute; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, May 19 at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery and Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
