, 79, Salina died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010. She was a homemaker supervisor with the State of Kansas for 10 years and also worked as a physical therapist aide.

She was born in Burlington on Sept. 26, 1931, the daughter of the late David W. and Tinie E. Daniel Shultz, she graduated from Burlington High School and was the widow of Ralph D Bever.

Survivors include daughters Julie Bever, Salina, Jackie Murphey, Chanute, Joyce Carlburg, Humboldt; sons, Gary Bever, Chanute, Tom Bever, Vera, Okla., Rick Bever, Chanute; a sister: Verda Lemas, Melborne, Fla.; 13 grandchildren’ five stepgrandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 2, 2005 and grandson Charles Bever on Sept. 16, 2004.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials to Hospice of Salina.
