Carolyn Sue Berthot, 86, Chanute passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at her home in Chanute, Kansas. Carolyn was born on Dec. 17, 1938, in Chanute, to Loeata and James Willard Fuller.
Carolyn was a beloved mother and full-time homemaker. She greatly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was especially proud of the family farm, which she called home for nearly 53 years. This was her forever home with the love of her life, Gary W. Berthot.
Carolyn and Gary were married at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute on Nov. 30, 1957. They were blessed with five children.
