Neosho County Community College: The monthly NCCC board meeting will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, in the Student Union Board Room.

Labette County Democrats: Labette County Kansas Democrats will host a town hall on Saturday, April 5 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at The Cardinal Event Center on the Labette Community College campus, at 1306 Main Street in Parsons.

The organization is sponsoring this event as a non-partisan effort intended to unite constituents of all political affiliations, in an environment wherein they can address their legislatures with their questions and concerns.

The following elected officials have been invited: Congressman Dan Goddard; Senator Virgil Peck; U.S. Representative Derek Schmidt; U.S. Senator Jerry Moran; U.S. Senator Roger Marshall; and, U.S. Representative Sharice Davids.

Knights of Columbus: The Knights of Columbus, Council 760, St. Paul-Walnut-Erie, is hosting a benefit breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, at St. Francis Parish Hall at First and Lafayette in St. Paul.

The menu includes sausage, eggs, hot cakes, biscuits and gravy. The cost is a free-will donation and proceeds will help with medical and travel expenses for Karen VanLeeuwen, an Erie woman who is fighting breast cancer.

Model T Ford Club: The East Central Kansas Model T Ford Club will meet Thursday April 10th in the conference room of the Burlington KS library located on Highway 75i in Burlington.The main entree and drinks will be furnished; attendees can bring a side dish to share. The meetings are open to the public.

St. Paul Blood Drive: A blood drive for the St. Paul and Erie communities will be from 1 to 6:30 p.m. on April 9, in the St. Francis Catholic Church Parish Hall in St. Paul. Schedule an appointment by calling 800-733-2767.
