Southeast Sunflowers 4-H helps another club

The Southeast Sunflowers 4-H Club held their regular monthly meeting on Sunday, April 13, in Walnut, for an exchange meeting with the Wonder Workers 4-H Club. Members started the day by helping the Wonder Workers stuff eggs and candy bags for an Easter event they had coming up. The clubs both had a quick meeting where roll call was taken by answering “name a flower.” It was answered by 16 members, two leaders, and two cloverbuds. The treasurer gave the treasurer’s report. The meeting ended with singing “Happy Birthday” to April birthdays. After the 4-H pledge, members adjourned the meeting and participated in a scavenger hunt. The next meeting will be Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m. The club will plant flowers at the school during this meeting time.
