Two Kansas ultrarunners, Sean Frost and Jonathan Prosser, will be attempting a historic 250-mile run across Kansas from May 22-26. This endurance attempt will traverse the state from the Nebraska border to the Oklahoma state line.
This unprecedented running attempt combines athletic achievement with charitable giving. Sean Frost is raising funds for Topeka Collegiate to support educational scholarships, while Jonathan Prosser is fundraising for Lifeline Children’s Services, supporting families and children in need.
Their run will begin the morning of May 22 at Kirkwood & Co. in Highland, and end in Coffeyville on May 26. They will be passing through Chanute on May 25.

On May 22, the men will leave from the Nebraska border and run to Oskaloosa, a distance of 66 miles. On May 23, the men will run from Oskaloosa to Ottawa, 56 miles. On May 24, the men will run 50 miles from Ottawa to Iola. From there, the men will run 54 miles to Cherryvale on May 25. The final stretch of the run will begin on May 26, and they will run 19 miles from Cherryvale to Coffeyville.
