NEODESHA – The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a bridge repair project on the U.S. 75 Verdigris River bridge east of Neodesha the week of June 2.
Project activity includes patching and resurfacing the bridge deck and replacing a drainage culvert. Temporary signals will direct onelane traffic through the work zone, which has a 12-foot lane restriction. Drivers can expect delays of no more than 15 minutes through early June 2026, weather permitting.
KDOT awarded the $4.6 million construction contract to Bridges Inc., of Newton. People with questions may contact Engineering Technician Supervisor Robyn Daniels, 620-5777315, or Public Information Officer Priscilla Petersen, 620902-6433.
