Chanute Police Department Reports
Friday, May 16: CPD conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of W. Main St. Officers spoke to the persons involved. Officers arrested Christy Splechter, 33, Chanute, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, no insurance and illegal tag display.
Friday, May 16: CPD conducted a traffic stop in the 10 block of W. Main Street. Officers spoke to the persons involved. Officers arrested Austin O’Brien, 29, Walnut, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, no insurance and illegal tag display.
Saturday, May 17: CPD responded to the 1300 block of S. Santa Fe Avenue. for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Joseph Creamer, 27, Chanute, KS for domestic battery.
Monday, May 19: CPD responded to the 500 block of W. 14th Street. for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Tana Jordan, 60, Chanute, for disorderly conduct, two counts of assault of a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement.
Chanute Police Department informs the public of these arrests via Facebook, on the Chanute Police Department Facebook page. Upon completion reports will be forwarded to Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
