Relay For Life of Neosho County is scheduled to have its annual celebration June 13-14, 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. on the Neosho County Community College campus. This will be 31 years since the first Relay here in Neosho County. All are welcome to come out and enjoy the night. There will be music, food, activities for the kids, theme laps, time for reflection, information about things the American Cancer Society is doing with the funds raised.
“ We are committed to being a part of the answer to the scourge of cancer. Our teams raise money all year and on Relay Night we celebrate and party all night long.” Sherri Rausch Watson, a Relay for Life organizer said. “As always, our track will be lined with luminaries, each one representing someone who has had to deal with cancer of one kind or another.”
A special lantern lighting ceremony will begin at 8:45 p.m.
