Chanute Police Department Reports
Monday, May 19: CPD responded to the 500 block of W. 14th Street. for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Tana Jordan, 60, Chanute, for disorderly conduct, two instances of assault on a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement.
Friday, May 23: CPD responded to the 600 block of S. Ashby Avenue for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Danin Borjas, 35, Chanute, for domestic battery.
Sunday, May 25: CPD responded to near the intersection of Main Street. and Lafayette Avenue for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Kenneth Decker, 39, Chanute, for domestic battery and kidnapping.
Wednesday, May 28: officers with CPD responded to the 600 block of N. Washington Ave. for a reported disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Shadow McKinney, 33, Chanute, for domestic battery.
Tuesday, May 27: CPD conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of S. Santa Fe Ave. After a brief foot pursuit officers arrested Kaseem Williams, 28, Chanute, for battery on law enforcement officer, distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement officer (felony) and no drug tax stamp. CPD also arrested Tiera Godfrey, 25, Chanute, for distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement officer (felony), no drug tax stamp and no vehicle insurance.
Sunday, June 1: CPD conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 14th St. and Highland Ave. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Teresa Mackey, 64, Chanute, for transporting an unsecured load, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Sunday June 1: CPD conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Santa Fe Ave. and Sycamore St. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Sadie Von Fange, 50, Wichita, for distribution of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Monday June 2: CPD applied for and was granted a search warrant in the 1800 block of S. Santa Fe Ave. Officers arrested Donnie Goodman, 48, Wichita, for distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of heroin, possession of cocaine, interference with law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia.
Tuesday June 3: CPD responded to the 200 block of S. Central Ave. for a criminal threat complaint. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Lonnie Morrow, 67, Chanute, for criminal threat.

Upon completion reports will be forwarded to Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
