Chanute Police Department Reports

Thursday June 19: CPD responded to Highland Park for a disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Andrew Berthot, 30, Humboldt, for aggravated domestic Saturday June 21: CPD responded to the 1500 block of W. 2nd Street for a battery report. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Michael Kay, 61, Chanute, for battery.

Sunday June 22: CPD responded to the 100 block of North Malcolm Avenue. for a possible disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Andrew Farris, 42, Chanute, and Aaron Vanatta, 40, Chanute, for domestic battery.

Sunday June 22: CPD conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Cherry Street and Steuben Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Raegan Hare, 21, Chanute, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Also arrested was Jayden Baker, 26, Chanute, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, no insurance, failure to stop and failure to signal turn.

Sunday June 22: CPD applied for and was granted a search warrant in the 100 block of South Denman Avenue. Officers arrested David Kinyon, 27, Chanute, and Christofer Holland, 32, Chanute, for distribution of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was Pipricka Vigil, 20, Chanute, Krisalyn McClellan, 19, Chanute, and Derek Liby, 33, Chanute, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday June 23: CPD started an investigation into electronic solicitation of a child. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Carter Tadlock, 18, Chanute, for electronic solicitation of a child.

Chanute Police Department informs the public of these arrests via the Chanute Police Department Facebook page. Upon completion reports will be forwarded to Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
