Chanute Police Department Reports
Saturday, June 28: CPD responded to the 200 block of East Walnut Street for a disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Rebekah Focks, 39, Chanute, for domestic battery.
Sunday, June 29: CPD conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ash Street and Highland Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Elijah Aldridge, 22, Mounds, Oklahoma, for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, criminal use of a weapon and failure to use turn signal.
Tuesday, July 1: CPD started an investigation into shots fired in the 1500 block of West Main Street. Officers spoke to persons involved. On Wednesday, July 2, officers arrested David Storm, 21, Chanute, for criminal trespassing and felony interference with law enforcement.
Wednesday, July 2: CPD responded to the 500 block of West Main Street for possible criminal damage. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Jamie Lock, 37, Chanute, for felony interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Thursday July 3: CPD started an investigation into an aggravated burglary in the 1000 block of North Santa Fe Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Patrick Phillips, 67, Chanute, for aggravated burglary.
Chanute Police Department informs the public of these arrests via the Chanute Police Department Facebook page. Upon completion reports will be forwarded to Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
