KDOT announces approved June bids

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place June 18, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

District Four — Southeast Bourbon — 3‑6 KA‑5711‑01 ‑ K‑3, bridge #029 over the Little Osage River, located 1.91 miles south of the Bourbon/Linn county line, bridge replacement, Bridges Inc., Newton, Kansas, $4,197,932.64.

Montgomery — 160‑63 KA‑6980‑01 ‑ U.S. 160, from the south U.S. 160/U.S. 169 junction east to 1.8 miles west of the east Montgomery County line, grading and surfacing, 2.7 miles, Wildcat Construction Co. Inc. & Subsidiaries, Wichita, Kansas, $8,730,036.03.

Statewide — 106 KA‑7287‑01 ‑ U.S. 169, U.S. 54 and U.S. 59 in Allen, Neosho, Anderson, Bourbon and Woodson counties, signing, Cooper Construction LLC, Emporia, Kansas, $789,819.00.
