Chanute Police Department Reports
Saturday, July 12: CPD responded to the 2700 block of S. Santa Fe Avenue for a shoplifting report. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Angelina Keidel, 22, Humboldt, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
Monday, July 14: CPD met with an individual at the police department in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers later arrested Trenton Green, 19, Chanute, for aggravated domestic battery.
Tuesday, July 15: CPD responded to a reported fight on Santa Fe Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Marisa Vanhouden, 23, Chanute, for domestic battery and Aryan Ditterline, 20, Chanute, for domestic battery and criminal restraint.
Tuesday, July 15: CPD responded to the 1200 block of West Mulberry Street for a disturbance. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Rachel McCarty, 28, Chanute, for domestic battery.
CPD informs the public of these arrests on the Chanute Police Department Facebook Page. Upon completion, reports will be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
