Wednesday July 30: CPD responded to the 800 block of North Steuben Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Wauneta Bridges, 80, Chanute, for domestic battery.
Tuesday August 5: CPD conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Malcolm Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Jessica Giller, 32, Chanute, for operating a vehicle without a license, possession of methamphetamine, and possession paraphernalia.
Wednesday August 6:
CPD conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of South Central Avenue. Officers spoke to persons involved. Officers arrested Steven Bolt, 58, Chanute, for illegal tag display, no insurance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession paraphernalia.
The Chanute Police Department informs the community of these arrests on the Chanute Police Department Facebook Page. Upon completion, reports will be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges being filed. All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
