The Best Yet July monthly meeting was called to order by Maddie Kepley on July 13.

Roll call was taken by answering the question “what was your favorite way to relax?” It was answered by 25 members, four leaders and no guests.

Nolan Dent gave the inspiration. Last month’s minutes were read and approved. The treasurer provided the treasurer’s report. The reporter gave the reporter’s report. The fair cleanup committee reported that the club’s fair cleanup day would be August 17. Members would be cleaning the beef barn and the arena.

The club tour committee reported that the club tour at the fair will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, and members should bring sides or desserts.

The stall sign committee reported that stall signs were ready for the fair.

In leaders reports, Jill Kepley reported fair info. Sarah Schoenecker reported the 4-H family movie night would be Sunday evening, July 27 in the Neosho Valley Event Center. In new business, Sam Fischbach moved to set a $100 budget for the food for the club tour. Nolan Dent moved to adjourn the meeting.

The club sang to the July Birthdays among members. Grace Schoenecker gave a project talk on livestock injections and Claire Schoenecker gave a project talk about common breeds of swine.
