On Tuesday, Aug. 26, the staff of Neosho Memorial proudly honored 51 employees reaching significant milestones at a Years of Service Reception.
Staff celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service were recognized during the annual event. Wendy Brazil, CEO, personally recognized each employee, expressing gratitude for their commitment and contributions to the hospital.
“I enjoy this reception because it celebrates not only your commitment to our patients and your community, but also to each other and our relationship with one another. I believe people go into healthcare because they want to help people, and you, all, do an amazing job, but they stay at one place, because of the relationships we have with each other,” Brazil said. “I’ve stayed here so long because of the great, great people I work with every day. So, thank you all for your loyalty and dedication to our patients and to each other.”
Bruce Mullen, NMRMC Board Chairman, acknowledged Brazil’s years of service and those of others in the room.
“On behalf of the hospital Board of Trustees, I sincerely thank each of you for your many years of service. We truly appreciate the effort you all put in on behalf of the hospital and its patients. We hope to see you many more times at this reception,” Mullen said.
Joining the honorees were family members and coworkers celebrating the people whose years of dedication have made a lasting impact on the hospital and the lives it touches.
