Chanute High School Cheer: CHS Cheer is hosting a Youth Clinic on Sept. 29 - Oct. 3 for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Cost is $25, includes three days of practices, performance at the football game on Friday, Oct. 3, and a T-shirt.
The students will perform alongside the high school cheerleaders on the sideline during the first half of the game and at halftime.

Sunflower Quilters Guild: The next meeting of the Sunflower Quilters Guild will be Monday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m. at the Humboldt United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, located at 806 N. 9th Street, Humboldt.
SEKAAA: Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging will hold a free family caregiver lunch for those providing care for family members over the age of 60. Lunch will be Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Opie’s Pizza, 122 E. Main Street. These lunches are held monthly on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
