Annual Night Out for Wellness set for Oct. 8

The much-anticipated Annual Night Out for Wellness is back—bigger, better and more entertaining than ever. Hosted by the NMRMC Foundation, this Preventative Health Forum is a chance to take charge of your well-being in a fun, engaging, and informative setting.

The event is set for Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the SEK Impact Center, 1500 W. Seventh Street.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The first 100 guests will receive a fun-filled Goody Bag packed with surprises.

From 5-6 p.m. attendees can enjoy 15 vendor booths, refreshments, fellowship, and more.

At 6 P.M. the spotlight turns to the Doctors’ Panel, featurin: Dr. Mih, Dr. Robinson, Dr. Higgins, Dr. Law, Dr. Wahl, and Dr. Lee — all guided by an energetic master of ceremony, Dr. Leroy.

“This event helps us fulfill our commitment to improve the health of our community in a fun and upbeat way,” said Wendy Brazil, NMRMC CEO. “Our panel format allows people to see their doctors not just as medical experts, but as approachable neighbors who want the best for them,” Anna Methvin, NMRMC Foundation Director explained.

“This is a great way to welcome our two new physicians, Dr. Jenifer Higgins and Dr. Mackenzie Wahl, and we’re happy they agreed to be on the physicians’ panel.”

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy refreshments and explore booths from local vendors including permanent jewelry, Merle Norman cosmetics, and services like NMRMC Home Health and SEK Mental Health Center. There will also be chances to win door prizes and to claim a goody bag.

“This isn’t your typical health event. It’s a celebration of wellness, a chance to connect with others, and a night to learn tips on healthier living,” Brazil added.
