Chanute Business and Professional Women participated in one of the biggest community events in Chanute on Saturday, Sept. 27. The 56th annual Artist Alley was held on a very beautiful day. Chanute BPW shared a booth with Neosho County Community College and held a fundraiser for the BPW Scholarship Fund.

Jen Brown, Tayah Williams and baby Prestyn, Jeff Brown and Kathy Williams enjoyed interacting with the crowd. Raffle tickets were sold for a gift bag containing a bag, several pieces of jewelry and two candle holders.

The drawing will be held during the National Business Week celebration, Oct. 19 through Oct. 25. Invitations were also handed out for our special event on Oct. 23 with Estelle Tasche, owner of Eleveneleven Fresherie and Woven Leaf Holistic giving a presentation.

Tickets are still on sale and available at $1 for one or $5 for six.

You can contact Kathy through the Chanute BPW Facebook page. For further information about BPW, contact President Sharon Carpenter at 620-431-8532.
