Roxanne Bideau, born Dec. 20, 1954, to Rex and Betty Coffman, passed away on Aug. 28, 2025, in Chanute, Kansas.
Roxanne’s greatest joy was her family and her strong faith in Jesus Christ.
Roxanne was a member of the Ambassador Christian Church and was among the original attendees of ACC’s Cherry Street location. She was also involved in Chanute Christian Women’s Connection, and volunteered at Cherry Street Youth Center.
Roxanne is survived by her children, Joscelyn Gaphardt and Jordan Bideau; her grandchildren, Justus, Denicia, and Xavier; her mother, Betty Coffman and her siblings Mike Coffman, Ronda Wiltse, and Rosalyn Nordgren. She will be remembered for her faith, her warmth, and the prayers and love she poured into her family. A service for Roxanne was held in Wichita on Oct. 7.
An informal Celebration of Life in Roxanne’s honor will be held in Chanute on Sunday, Oct. 19. Come and go from 12:30 - 2 p.m., with light refreshments, at Ambassador Christian Church, Chanute.
