ST. PAUL — Snapping a two-game losing skid, the St. Paul Indians took down the Waverly Bulldogs, 28-24, on Friday night in Week 7.
St. Paul built a 16-0 lead through the first quarter and never relinquished control.
The Indians ran for 210 yards while Waverly amassed 229. St. Paul added 41 passings yards with the Bulldogs tallying 20.
Devin Vogel racked up two touchdowns and 130 yards on 12 carries, while Brec Norris added 80 yards and a score on 25 carries for St. Paul.
Justin Gomez caught all three completed passes from Norris.
With the win, St. Paul improved to 3-4 overall.
