Virginia May Loller

PITSBURG — Virginia May Lollar, 89 of Pittsburg, passed away Oct. 30, 2025 at the Carrington Place in Pittsburg. She was born November 29, 1935 in Hallowell, KS the daughter of Ernest C. and Nellie May (Walker) Dunbar.

On May 12, 1953 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Lollar, Sr. in Hallowell; he survives her of the home.

Virginia started working in the cafeteria at Spencer School and worked her way up to kitchen manager, she was also involved in Busy Jane’s County Extension Unit, Gents and Jane’s Square Dance Club, the Red Hats, the Pink Ladies at Mount Carmel Hospital, she was an excellent Baker baking wedding cakes and other delicious treats, she was also a receptionist for Dr Linda Lollar, DDS and was a member of the Pleasant View Township Breakfast Club.

She was a long time member of The Opolis United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include Ken (Janet Lewis) Lollar of Pittsburg, Bob (Melanie Hanson) Lollar of Pittsburg, Dr. Linda (Don Kerley) Lollar, DDS of Erie; a sister Wilma Lollar of Girard.

She was preceded in death by a brother Ernest C. Dunbar, Jr. and an infant sister Linda May Dunbar.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, with Dorcia Johnson officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude and/ or the Salvation Army; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor. com. Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg.
